Bio:
Ryan is a bartender/consultant/aspiring writer and one of the most passionate bartenders you’re likely come across. His interests are primarily in the areas of Mixology and Classic Cocktails but he has been known to be distracted by flair from time to time.

Ryan is currently South African National Cocktail Champion and will represent South Africa at the IBA World Championships in Berlin in August 2009. He is also the KZN regional representative of the South African Bartenders Association.

Other competition results include 1st place results in the Durban Designer Drink Competition and KZN regionals of the 2006 Bombay Sapphire Cocktail Competion and 3rd at the National Finals in Cape Town, as well as numerous other top 3 placings at both classic and flair competitions around the country. He has also traveled to Mexico as part of a Tequila education program, courtesy of Olmeca Tequila and Pernod Ricard.
